On the occasion of the inauguration of RI HOUSE and with the aim of bringing together the entire team of Francesc Rife Studio, we invited chef Juancho Martini, founder and chef of the restaurants Fat Barbies, Fat Veggies and Fat Tapas, to carry out a dynamic dinner that combined food and space. Martini's cuisine is characterized by creativity and the search for maximum flavor through primitivism and the use of fire. Other fundamental elements are proximity and the value of homemade. Martini is passionate about fire, smoke, smoking, as well as marinating and fermentation.
For this event, we organized different food stations around the entire space, taking advantage of the furniture available at RI HOUSE and making use of the stainless steel kitchen from the renowned German brand Bulthaup. The dinner, which included seasonal ingredients, fermented flavors and a pork cooked for several hours, was arranged in different stations throughout the space, creating a dynamic and fun experience in which Martini allowed us to be part of the process. Station by station, we stopped at each one to receive a brief introduction from the chef and, in some cases, even helped finish the dishes ourselves.
With this dinner, we inaugurated the RI TABLE by RI HOUSE program, a space to share with others around design, art, cuisine and culture.
